The earliest iteration of the adage you need to crack out a million words to be a good writer is currently attributed to Ray Bradbury, who is quoted to have said, “Write a thousand words a day and in three years you’ll be a writer.”

Well, I’m probably not going to manage a thousand words a day. I’m slow at nearly everything I do, get easily distracted, and habitually procrastinate. But I do wish to improve my writing. So here I am, shamelessly flinging my error prone, mistake riddled scribblings onto this blog instead of hiding them away like I no doubt should.

Alongside my sporadic attempts at writing I enjoy archery, tabletop gaming, SF&F, and hoarding stationery like a furtive magpie. I spend quite a significant percentage of my time with my dog.
